Playmobil Funpark - Zirndorf
Who never played with Playmobil products as a child? When Playmobil built the amusement grounds at Zirndorf we were invited to shoot a virtual 360-degree panorama tour for them. The aim of the tour was to show parents that their children are in good hands here and that the offered activities are an active and healthy alternative to today's ever-growing couch potato society.
Several years ago, the toy manufacturer Horst Brandstätter decided to take steps to combat the ever increasing lack of exercise among children. In the year 2000, he opened the out-of-the-ordinary PLAYMOBIL®-FunPark at his Zirndorf headquarters, focussing on active participation, spontaneity, overcoming inhibitions and undertaking to doing something on one's own.
Spanning an area of 90,000 square metres, the amusement park offers all a child could ever desire. Horst Brandstätter's idea is that children should play an active part in all activities, and not just be circled around on carousels all day. According to the activity, they can climb things, slide down chutes and splash about with water.
