Bosch Engineering GmbH performs all kinds of tests on automotive innovations. Owing to the presence of prototypes, the rooms are inaccessible to the public. However, in order to grant an insight to anyone who is technically interested, a virtual 360-degree panoramic tour - by and with moving-pictures - could not have been more apparent.
The development and optimization of electronic vehicle control systems requires meticulous work from a mastermind, no matter whether the current serial model is concerned, or the car of the future. At Bosch Engineering they combine precision and superior engineering know-how with true passion for automobiles.
The new Bosch Group development and applications centre at Abstatt (near Heilbronn) was opened in 2004 and offers workplaces for over 2000 employees in the motor vehicle technology. More than 600 of them belong to Bosch Engineering. The state-of-the-art dynamometers are a major addition to the services offered.
