Lahn Valley
Just outside Frankfurt lies a region that sometimes gives one the impression that time has stood still. When the marketing alliance asked us to depict it in a virtual 360-degree panorama tour, our photographers were impressed indeed! The Lahn Valley region is most certainly worth a visit. But only those who know that such an idyll exists outside the tumultuous city will ever go there. It was the task of moving-pictures to put this across.
Magestic castles and fortresses, impressive churches, monasteries and domes attest to the culture of the Lahn Valley.
Adorable Old Towns with picturesque timber-framed houses are witnesses to the bustling activity of long ago. It is here, where we rediscover the origins on foot, by bicycle or canoe, that one of the most romantic rivers in Germany flows: the Lahn.
