Kiekeberg open-air farm museum
Nestled in the Natural Park countryside of Schwarze Berge, between Hamburg and Lüneburg Heath, is the Kiekeberg open-air farm museum.
30 historical buildings strewn around 12-hectares of land recount the culture and lifestyle of Winsen Marsh and the northern Lüneburg Heath.
Kiekeberg's open-air museum is a family-friendly, living museum that you can really get your hands on! That's why children are particularly welcome - admission is free up to the age of 16! Getting information across to kids is a major concern of ours, so much so that there is always some kind of special festival or event going on for them!
All year round we have promotion days such as the culinary Schlachtfest, cheese and titbit markets, not to mention our tractor and veteran car gatherings for all horsepower and technology lovers, the annual historical fun fair, artisan and flower markets. There is something for everyone. Curious? Then come and be enchanted by the extra special atmosphere here.
