Question: How do you produce these "moving-pictures" panorama photographs?? Answer: We produce the photographs in situ with expensive equipment, e.g. specially developed tripods, converters and special software for reworking, in consideration of carefully thought out plans of direction.

Question: Why need fullscreen panoramas such a long time of loading (ca. 30 sec) in spite of ISDN? Answer: ISDN is only 10% faster than a 56K modem. Therefore ISDN is a slow internet access; that means only modem or ISDN versions of the panoramas should be opened. The fullscreen panoramas are produced for a broadband internet access that is much faster than ISDN.

Question: What are Hot Spots? Answer: A hot spot enables the viewer to walk in a panorama from one room to another. We put arrows on doors, windows etc. and when you click on such a hot spot a new panorama is loaded (e.g. to walk from a hotel room directly into the bathroom).

Question: Are these pictures "Live"? Answer: No, they aren't. The pictures are not from a webcam, they were produced separately.

Question: How near to reality are these "moving-pictures"? Answer: It is just this technology that enables you to look into all directions and any corners. This source of information is extremely realistic and no brochure deceit. In particular that is the reason for the high demand for virtual tours.

Question: What is about the location of a panorama? Answer: You are free to determine the location of a panorama.

Question: What are unfolded panoramas? Answer: In this two-dimensional presentation a part of the picture or the complete panorama picture is depicted "unfoldedly". These pictures aren't a complete image of the reality but often very impressive. The pictures can also be printed.

Question: What are the minimum requirements for panorama photographs? Answer: Our aim has been and remains that as many visitors as possible are able to view the virtual tour without any downloading of plugins. By the use of various plugins we achieve a covering of more than 98%! Furthermore we keep developing new technologies. Lately they have enabled us to present the panoramas on many mobile devices. To be able to view all features of the virtual tour (presentation, blue prints etc.) make use of the Flash plugin from version 9, in case you haven't already loaded it (Flash from version 9 has already a covering of more than 90%). Question: How much do such panorama photographs cost? Answer: It depends mainly on the number of pictures and the kind of technology. Of course we will send you an individual offer on your request.

Question: What size have these panorama photographs? Answer: The modem/ISDN versions of a panorama have ca. 70KB/panorama picture, DSL versions ca. 350 KB. Our fullsceen panoramas have ca. 1 MB - 3 MB (depending on resolution) and they are depicted on full screen.

Question: Are moving-pictures' panoramas also running on mobile devices lilke iPad or iPhone? Answer: Yes, they do. And even without any apps. On iPone or iPad the panoramas are even running as fully adequate 360°x360° spherical panoramas, that means a view from the ceiling to the floor. On many other devices like Blackberries, Nokia etc. the panoramas are depicted by JavaScript as cylinder panoramas (without ceiling and floor, distorted!). The only prerequisite here is the necessary activation of JavaScript.

Question: What is the difference between spherical and cylinder panoramas? Answer: Spherical panoramas enable the view up and down. So nothing keeps hidden to the eye of the viewer. A picture is assembled from four fisheye photographs. A cylinder panorama covers 360° only horizontally but not vertically. Therefore moving-pictures prefers high quality spherical panoramas.

Question: Is it possible to rent the photographs? Answer:  Moving-pictures offers an interesting rental concept. After three years of renting the pictures become the customer's property.
